Welcome to the Restorative Justice Center's Victim Outreach portal.

If you have been a victim of a crime, you may choose to participate in one or more of the options described on this page in MOST CASES.

These forms may be used throughout the Justice system by the Prosecutor, the Judge, and the Department of Corrections to better understand the emotional/psychological, physical, and financial impact of the crime.

Victim Request for Registration

(This does not pertain to Simple misdemeanor or traffic cases)

You have the right to register to receive information regarding the case by different agencies of the defendant's status.

Victim Impact Statement

(This does not pertain to Simple misdemeanor or traffic cases)

A Victim Impact Statement is a voluntary statement that grants you the opportunity to let the prosecutor and the sentencing judge know the extent to which the crime has affected you, those close to you and/or your business and employees.

Victim's Pecuniary Damage Statement (Restitution owed to you)

If you have suffered a financial loss directly related to the crime, you can provide information showing the type of loss and the dollar amount(s) for any out of pocket expenses. You will need to send photocopies of any bills, estimates or statements that verify your loss. This information is for the Judge to determine what amount of restitution, if any, should be paid to you by the defendant if the defendant is found guilty or pleads guilty to this crime. Amounts for pain and suffering or mental anguish cannot be considered in criminal matters.
